This song is a masterpiece, Cradle have a unique touch when it comes to make hard and fast song that yet have a peaceful and beautiful aura. Love this band so much.

One of my favorite

So much better than the "Fix" version. The intro riff is so good, yet so simple. Love it. The structure is in every way better as well. Just far superior, great song period. There shouldn't have even been a "Fix" version. I'm not really a fan of Cradle other than this song (or black metal of any form/sub genre, be it symphonic, or raw). I'm primarily a death metal head/musician, but this version of this song still gives me goosebumps many years later.

love the part at 1:17-1:25 Great double meaning in the lyrics. Horus's Eye represented hope, rejuvenation, redemption, etc. "No Horus Eye" then "Blind Follow The Blind, Now the One Eyed Man is King." Horus was the god of the underworld. Essentially; the devil is in charge and the one thing that represents hope doesnt exist. Love songs like this. Almost like it's from the perspective of a demon laughing at the people stuck in hell on earth, and it's because of their own making. Almost like a spiritual successor to Nightmare where instead of one person coming to the realization that they're in hell it's the whole world realizing it. Plus "it goes beyond big brother in the sky" and "God Nation, God Damn" A nation formed from christianity is bow damned by it after falling into sin. Kind of also a stretch but in the bible it mentions that the worst part about hell isnt the eternal torment but the knowledge that you are forever separated from God and no matter how much you pray for forgiveness he'll never hear it

I had forgotten about this song... I used to play it on a loop many years ago. The melody floated to me on a breeze the other day and I couldn't figure out what song it was (because I listen to thousands of artists for real) and then today I remembered Nymphetamine..... once I remembered that lyric it was a done deal Still think overdose is the best version by far.
